The Park

The Park of Várzea was a dead space, without any activity all year, except in a short period of the year, when Feira of São Pedro took place, this space hid many wrong activities because it was a very dark space. Until the town council had decided to revaluate this space and make it a attractive space, beautiful and functional creating the Park of Várzea.

This space has a playground, near the snack-bar and a restaurant, where the fathers can lunch rest and see their children play, this is a space lawn, where we can practice many activities, sport and cultural, such as football, volleyball, competitions of kites, gymnastics, concerts, theatres and other things, the park has a circuit of maintenance, where we can find many people all day long walking in the circuit and enjoying it. The Park still has a Skate Park where the kids can join to practice skateboard.

This Park is the prove that the will of politics can transform the useless into useful and ugly in to beautiful.
